The Mechanics of the Bio Reactor |
|
The Bio Reactor is reliant on a feeder system that is in a specially adapted lid. The feeder system is both a water fed and mechanically fed process. The feed material is mechanically fed into the tank, in dehydrated form where the water that is fed rehydrates the feed material.
Both water and feed material diffuse into the centre of the reactor tank, feeding the biomass within the tank. Once in the pond, the Bio Activator improves the bacterial metabolisation of organic material. This in turn reduces sludge levels and odours. It operates aerobically under anaerobic conditions such as oil wells, sludge lagoons and septic tanks etc. It inhibits the production of hydrogen sulphide and methane. It is most effective in organically overloaded plants and improves the plants ability to handle shock loads.
