The problems that may arise with agricultural wastewater are offensive odours, manure management, sludge development and the enhancement of manure value.

Observation and experience has also shown us that livestock farmers have largely been neglected by academic development regarding slurry management.


We have found too that as livestock populations on farms grow, the slurries haven't grown accordingly and the result is organic overloading.
A further observation is that farmers are not aware of the chemical composition of the slurry when they irrigate it onto the lands.
